Sunday 30th May
Welcome to our on-line service, led this week by Sue and Rich.
We hope the sun is shining where you are today and you are basking in the love and blessing of the Lord. If you are struggling please draw close to him this morning he is with you in every circumstance.
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Holy Spirit You are Welcome Here
Let us pray:
Holy Spirit you are welcome here, may you flood this place where I am with your love and your blessing. May I and all those listening bask in your presence for this time of worship and the rest of today; may we feel your righteous right hand upon our lives and experience your peace. We welcome your presence this morning Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
Today we are going to have a period of praise and worship and take the bread and wine before Rich speaks. He is following on from points he raised last week and is focusing on the presence, power and peace of the Holy Spirit.
Let us welcome the presence of His Holy Spirit and ask Him to lead us.
Oceans [where my feet fall]
A change of tempo now – let us sing those praises forevermore.
Father God I wonder
Now… Lift your hands…
I Lift my Hands my hands to the Coming King
As we come to the bread and wine, please take yourself to the foot of the cross, confess your sins, your struggles, your heartaches and breathe in the love, the forgiveness and the embrace from those nail scarred hands. Remember the healing in the sacrifice and blood of our beautiful Lord Jesus and rest in his presence. Raise up in prayer, the nation, the community where you live and work, your family and friends, those less fortunate and the world at large and meditate upon the ‘Wondrous Cross’.
When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
Talk from Rich:
And now may the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and always in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Take care, and enjoy the sunshine. Rich and Sue
